Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox (53-47) dropped their 2nd straight out of the All-Star Break and were shutout for the 4th time this season with Saturday night's 6-0 loss to the Cubs at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Shota Imanaga tossed 7 scoreless innings in picking up the win for the Cubs, who will go for the series sweep on Sunday. The Sox are still 12-3 over their last 15. The Sox are 53-47 thru 100 games for the 3rd straight year. -----The Home Run Ball: The Cubs hit 5 solo Home Runs in the win over the Red Sox Saturday night. Michael Busch and Kyle Tucker went back-to-back against losing pitcher Brayan Bello to start the game. Matt Shaw hit a pinch-hit Home Run off Chris Murphy in the 7th.
