The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank happened in just 48 hours, after a $42 billion bank run. It’s now the second biggest bank collapse in U.S. history after the collapse of Washington Mutual in 2008.    The crisis began when the bank said it needed to raise $2.25 billion to shore up its balance sheet, but that spooked investors which include some of the biggest tech companies and venture capitalists in Silicon Valley. Withdrawals happened so rapidly that the company was forced to sell all of its available-for-sale bonds at a $1.8 billion loss. At the end of
