The Cincinnati Reds dropped their fourth straight game on Friday night, falling 7-5 in extra innings to the St. Louis Cardinals. After battling to force extras, the Reds unraveled when Elly De La Cruz committed a costly error that opened the door for St. Louis to take the lead. Cincinnati’s offense showed life with some timely hits, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the late miscues.
