Sinopsis
In this episode, we explore why the new birth is necessary in a world fractured by fear, violence, and division. Paul’s words in Romans 2 expose four common excuses that keep us from true transformation: 1. “I know some sinners” – but judging others only condemns us too (Romans 2:1–3). 2. “The life I enjoy” – blessings are not proof of goodness; God’s kindness is meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4–6). 3. “The morals I have” – knowing right from wrong isn’t enough; only a new heart can save (Romans 2:13–15). 4. “The Scriptures I’ve learned” – it’s not knowledge but obedience that matters (James 1:22; Romans 2:17–24).The gospel offers more than moral reform or political solutions—it offers resurrection life. Through baptism, we are reborn into Christ, empowered to live with humility, forgiveness, and hope. Personal rebirth leads to church renewal, which can spark national transformation, in that order.
