The Missouri Attorney General’s office has filed first degree murder charges against a South Carolina man for a cold case murder that happened in Columbia 26 years ago today (Wednesday). A court filing from Missouri Assistant Attorney General Kevin Zoellner alleges that 45-year-old Sentrell Wilson asphyxiated the victim on February 25, 2000, left her body where it went undiscovered for days and then fled the state. Wilson has a violent criminal history in South Carolina, according to Zoellner.
