Long Distance Popcast

A look back at all the pop culture highs and lows of the year including celebrity deaths, movies, music, entertainers, sports, and television.  So many great ones were lost (Prince, David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Garry Marshall, Carrie Fisher, George Michael, Debbie Reynolds, and more). Was it a good year for movies (Suicide Squad, Captain America, Rogue One, Finding Dory)? Lots of artists released major albums (Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Frank Ocean, Kanye West). Sports had some major losing streaks come to an end (Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Cubs). And did we reach a new TV golden age (Stranger Things, Westworld, People vs. OJ Simpson)? Goodbye 2016. Bring on 2017.
