This is an interesting mix and I'm actually pretty happy with how it played out. The need to work around the venues dinner clientele got a curve ball with a *very* late seating. We were asked to not "blow them out", so that's why the first half of this mix, my opening 45 minute set, has a laid back, soulful tone. Just as the late table was leaving things jumped with the lyric "bang the beat out!" and the people who were there waiting to really get down, really got down.
