In September I was invited by Rhythm & Culture Music and Eighteenth Street Lounge to be a part of Rhythm & Culture's first label compilation, The Sound of Rhythm & Culture. It was a great night, featuring a live performance by Second Sky. They did a mixture of their own songs along with some Thomas Blondet and Farid numbers. The night was shared with DJ Sean Haney's weekly Do It Properly night, so it also featured Soul Brazil live upstairs with Names Thompson on percussion. This is my opening set from that night.
