The Speedway Centre for the Arts is opening a new gallery space, and their first show will feature painter Douglas David's work. Travis DiNicola spoke with David, as well as artist Amy Carroll about the new gallery and their work. High-profile architect Deborah Berke and her firm are designing the new Cummins building in downtown Indianapolis. Ms. Berke is coming to Indianapolis to give a free talk next week, and Sharon Gamble thinks you might want to attend. The Annual Indianapolis Sister Cities Fest brings together food, music, and more from Indy's 8 sister cities with this free event on Georgia Street coming up on Saturday September 19th.
