Zenobia, Sam, and Humphrey had gone back into the woods outside of Youngtown. The trio had set out to follow up on a little bit of Harmon family history in an effort to try and bring peace to Maxine Harmon, whose tiny soul had been trapped inside a creepy corn-cob doll. However, once out amongst the forest that doubled as the final resting place of many a Harmon girl, Samantha's sight zeroed in on a particular tree trying to branch out and touch someone.
