Eliazar (Charlie) Torres, better known as Monstergetdown, was born and raised in Boyle Heights, California. He started experimenting with Ableton Live 8 Suite and soon began creating his own style of electro/tech house music, dubbing the project, Monstergetdown. After producing tons of musical output and perfecting his performance skills, Charlie's journey took a fateful step when he was chosen as one of the winners of the Discovery Project: Nocturnal Wonderland (2012), one of his biggest accomplishments thus far. Though his recordings stand out boldly when played in any context, it is the live sets where the spirit of his music truly shines.
