In this interview, we open a discussion on a topic which will be relevant to all practitioners at the end of their journey in professional practice, which is “How do I get out?” The particular aspect being explored in this discussion is the exit of sole practitioner accountants and financial planners. However, there are aspects which have universal application, such as having an exit plan and looking objectively at shedding (or continuing with) the various responsibilities that go with being a practitioner.
