It’s that time again—another incongruous Screeners double feature! One movie’s called A Star is Born, and the main character from the other one was born on a star (Sort of? Maybe?), but that’s where the similarity ends. A Star is Born may be a remake, but Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are getting terrific buzz for their acting. Tom Hardy as Venom, though? That said, it’s still a Marvel movie, so at least a couple of the Screeners will see it out of an overwhelming sense of duty.
