She was trained at the prestigious "Neighborhood Playhouse" Drama Academy in New York, the London School of Music and Dance in Covent Gardens, London, England and 20th Century Fox Studios in Los Angeles, California. She received the ABC Star of Tomorrow Award, 2000 Women of Achievement Award, Women in Film Award and a Poetry Award. She is listed in "Who's Who" in Entertainment and "Who's Who" of American Women. She is member of SAG, AFTRA various Equity Unions. She is a graduate of University of Southern California (USC). Musically, Monica is a singer of jazz, popular and standard music.
