Noah Volz, Life West Chiropractic College student interviews Dr. Steven Huybrecht. He is a graduate of Northwestern University of Health Sciences. After 2 years in private practice, he earned a spot as the chiropractic resident at the VA St. Louis Healthcare System. He is working toward completion of the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician program and certification in chiropractic acupuncture. Dr. Huybrecht’s professional interests include chronic pain management for veterans, organizational leadership, and state and national advocacy. His recent article, A Typical Week at the St. Louis VA Medical Center, is part of a new series of blogs from current VA Residents on the American Chiropractic Association website. Dr. Steven Huybrecht was raised in northern Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Superior and earned his BS in Exercise Sport Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He continued his education at Northwestern Health Sciences University where he earned a doctorate in chiropractic. During his
