24 NFL teams have started the 2018 preseason play and the remaining eight join the fun over the weekend. While exhibition games do not count in the NFL…they matter. The preseason is a chance for NFL teams to see how well young players or players coming off injury fare in live game settings, and are central to the decision making process as teams assemble their final 53-man rosters.
