Years ago, my husband and I wanted to purchase multiple investment properties at the same time.The first purchase went through relatively easily, but the subsequent loans were more tough. The underwriters kept coming back with additional unexpected requirements that we we were not prepared to meet. Eventually their requests (such as proving we had larger balances in the bank than they originally required, "seasoned") became impossible, and the deals were slipping away. Until I had an idea...
