Rambling With Friends

On today’s show we discuss something a wee bit more academic when it comes to film; story plots. We tell you how many stories there are in the world, what they are, and ask why does Hollywood do the same 3 or 4 stories over and over. We want to see something different! There is a lot of really geeky and nerdy film history talk. Art and hipsters are discussed as well. Plus the phenomena I like to call “the film school student syndrome.” We also mention how adapting books to movies is problematic. And the big problem the DC Movie universe has that the CW TV universe doesn’t. Dropping mad knowledge and truth that would impress anyone at a dinner party.
