52 Week Film Project

This week on the 52 Week Film Project Jake and Will saw our second Odeon Screen Unseen, and I am delighted to reveal that the film we will be reviewing this week is THE OLD MAN AND THE GUN. We both wonder at the eagerly anticipated final swan song of actor/director Robert Redford, talk about the film's resistance to the tropes associated with a romance movie, and compare Casey Affleck's work to that of his big brother Ben. But before all that, we have an array of fascinating news stories for you this week. We talk about the new Breaking Bad movie, the Shrek franchise reboot and a new Grant Morrison comic book tv series that is set to make 'Happy!' look positively normal.
