So Hollywood did exactly what you'd expect them to do- Hire the guy who brought us EVIL DEAD. While not the conventional choice for director, Spider-Man would launch Sam Rami from low budget horror and sometime thriller director, to helming one of Marvel's biggest properties.  But does 2002's Spider-Man live up to the gigantic hype it had back in the day?
