It’s a perfect mix of shade and light on this week’s show. Our first review is Steve McQueen and Gillian Flynn’s film adaptation of Linda LaPlante’s Widows (15m13s), a slick but dark crime thriller starring Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez and Elizabeth Debicki. As a nice contrast, Pixar is back with another sequel. The follow-up to the beloved Incredibles is available to rent (29m16s).
