THE MIDDLE EAST – Darkest Side This Townsville six piece have been featured on the Spunk Singles Club compilation. This track is off their debut EP, Recordings Of The Middle East, released May 2009. They’ve played shows with Bill Callahan aka SMOG, Adelaide’s Leader Cheetah and Sydney’s own Devoted Few. DANIMALS – Hornets Nest DANIMALS is 21 year old artist Jonti Danimals who was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was brought up on South African Music by his uncle before discovering acts like The Beach Boys, Stereolab, Madlib and J Dilla. You can also see him on stage as a member of Sydney group Sherlock’s Daughter but as Danimals, he often uses gaming consoles to record and play live.
