Sinopsis
This was, possibly, the most misguided move ever taken by Warner Bros. A full-blooded American interpretation of a quintessentially British show. The Avengers (not that one) boasts the excellent skills of a whole host of talented actors, and Uma Thurman. Critics hated it… audiences stayed away… I surely can’t be that bad. [spoilers] We had to record a little extra, to make up time and add some much needed positivity, giving you an insight into BFGC decision making along the way. But is it possible for Jim Broadbent to give a bad performance? Were Shaun Ryder’s appearances on TFI Friday the reason he was given no dialogue? And has Sean Connery made a worse film than Zardoz? Join us as we joyride in an E-Type Jag and see if this remake is a sturdy Steed, or limp like orange Peel If you’ve seen it, let us know what you think.
