Several doctors bustled about in my peripheral vison. I lay on a metal operating table, hooked up to a massive machine that sat right under the big screen. "WAIT WHAT!?" My heart starts thumping inside my chest. I turn my head and find at least 10,000 people. As I scanned the crowd I found men, women, children, some had rips in their clothing, all had the same look of pure fear on their faces. Not a smile to be found, just eyes staring at the screen, at me. "Wh- who are you?" I stutter, "And who am I?" An old lady walks up to me and says, "We are the last of the human race, and as for you," She chuckles slightly, "Drew, you're our only hope." She pulls a lever on the machine and walks back to the others. I scream, "SEE YA ON THE FLIPSIDE GRANDMA!" and fall into my thirsty earth. Laughing gas is funny, don't you think?
