I'm a newbie saddle hunter. I've ditched my stand and am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Tethrd Mantis saddle. Today I talk with Tethrd co-owner Greg Godfrey about saddle hunting. I am approaching it from the point of a view of a total newb. How to do it, how to climb, what ropes are used, what knots I should know, and even terminology like splicing.
