There seems to be an anti-scale sentiment in the ketogenic community but I think stepping on the scale and weighing yourself every day can be a powerful tool when you have a lot of weight to lose - particularly when you have 100 pounds or more to lose - so I’m discussing my unique point of view when it comes to weighing yourself every day while doing keto or any other low-carb diet or any diet in general. I understand that weight can fluctuate wildly and that weight loss is not a straight line, but overall I think the scale is a perfect way to give yourself a quick look at your progress.
