1/24/2016 6:00 pm Pacific Time Martial Arts is a wonderful extracurricular activity for those with special needs, especially kids with Autism or other sensory-processing issues. The repetition, the familiar curriculum, the familiar faces at each class....each aspect of martial arts allows those with special needs to shine and participate on par with classmates. Join Restita and Bob as they talk about martial arts for special needs....specifically the Autism Spectrum, and we want to hear from parents with kids that have sensory processing difficulties, teachers/paraeducators, therapists, and most of all, we want to hear from martial arts instructors who offer classes or programs for special needs kids.
