Ricky Porter is Australia's all-time #1 hit record producer, former #1 Australian recording artist, record label owner, and Logie Award winner. Robie launched his country, pop-rock musical career in 1959 releasing over 20 singles and 10 albums. In 1970, he purchased a controlling share of independent record label, Sparmac launching the careers of Daddy Cool and Rick Springfield. In 1973 Porter started a new label, Wizard (in partnership with Steve Binder) and signed Hush, Mighty Kong and Marcia Hines. In the 1980s, Porter produced albums for Air Supply, Tommy Emmanuel and The Nauts.
