Originally, I had plan to look more extensively at Walter Murch's mind-melting sound design for the film, but timing and misplacing my DVD made this difficult. If you haven't watched THX-1138 with the isolated score (in other word, with most actor dialogue removed), it's a brilliant listen. What's wrong? Are you now or have you ever been? 1.
