Today we've got something pretty cool for you listeners, an interview with an American ventriloquist, comedian and writer April Brucker, we got off to a great start by getting straight into how talented the Irish are at swearing and how to discipline kids Irish-style. We spoke about what April did before she got into comedy, mostly trying to get laid while in college and how she got into ventriloquism. This lead to April having a public access TV show while still in high school that aired in 36 American states and 6 countries and the fledgling technology of the world wide web. April was a massive viral hit in April 2015 when the British 'newpaper' The Daily Mail wrote an article about her dumping her boyfriend when he came to her with an ultimatum; me or the puppets. The article also revealed that April spends around $20,000 per year on her then 16 puppets, now 19, so of course we had to talk to about all of that.
