We'll listen to one by a band that Pete Townsend assembled in 1969 who had a huge hit single but faded after only one album, a cool 1965 single by Martha and the Vandellas that just barely scraped into the American Top 40 so has been mostly forgotten, plus we'll check out records by the New Colony Six, the Yardbirds, the Mindbenders, the Hassles, which featured a very young Billy Joel, and many others.
