In the first episode of season two, we talk with the awesome Tim Rhodes from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine about his work in Kenya, where he is using qualitative methods to explore the development of harm reduction initiatives, including the recent introduction of methadone assisted therapy. His work seeks to develop a critical approach to using qualitative methods as part of implementation science. We discuss some of the emergent findings from work looking at the multiple meanings of methadone.
