Sinopsis

Michael Kitson considers the effectiveness of the economic policies of the three main parties to continue Britain's recovery. He warns of the dangers of a quick deficit cut, why the public sector needs to step in to maintain economic activity and rates the claims a coalition government will lead to an economic crisis as scare mongering. Wealthy countries, he says, do spend more on the public sector, however it is up to the electorate to vote for what they want - do they want a bigger public sector with better services or smaller with higher taxes?
