In this sequence I introduce you to the au-pair model more detailed and briefly compare it with the nanny model in the end. There is no right or wrong – it is really up to each family which model fits best. First of all, we need to define what an au-pair is and which tasks they are responsible for. In order to hire an au pair, there a several requirements which have to been fulfilled first. In addition to this, you have to follow the federal and cantonal regulations.
