Two famous films get sequels this week. Doctor Sleep is more unexpected of the two, catching up with Danny Torrance several decades after the events of The Shining. This film adaptation of Stephen King’s 2013 novel is written and directed by Mike Flanagan, and attempts to reconcile the differences between The Shining novel and Stanley Kubrick’s film from 1980. Men in Black: International is the latest instalment in the dependably popular franchise, but there’s a new double act at the center this time around.
