Stop turning away opportunities that don’t “fit” with your vision. Sometimes you hae to do things you don’t want to do in order to have the opportunity to do the things you want to do. We live in a world full of judgement but we should not allow the judgement to affect our path. There will be times when an opportunity is presented and you are very unsure of taking it. Maybe it doesn’t line up with what you envisioned for yourself. If you get to perform in a new way it is a true opportunity for learning and growth. Most of the time doing things we have to do will lead us to new discoveries about our talents and will help us find new things to be passionate about. Don’t let judgement of Desk-dwellers stop you from moving forward. On the same note - don’t be the person judging other performers for find a new and different way to use their talents.
