The Minions had finally managed to get deep inside the subconscious in the petrified head of a very old, very dead former god - there, they hoped to snag a page from the Codex of Infinite Planes, thus preventing Maximillian from destroying the Lady of Pain and claiming Sigil as his own. After surviving a pretty nasty trap, our heroes found the page… just as it was getting snatched by Max’s accomplice, the Black Queen.
