If you’re buying a new house, you may want to get a home inspection and if your selling a home you should prepare for a buyer having one done on your home.   Unless your home is flawless – which few ever are – you are probably in for some negotiations between the buyer and seller prior to moving forward with your sale.   Remember that navigating your way through the home inspection process is essential. Don’t become stubborn and refuse to negotiate.   It is important to recognize problems that will be issues with anyone and deal with them.     Prioritize and go in understanding that this has to be a win win for everyone involved.
