He is founder of the Institute for Wise Philanthropy, faculty co-director of the Funder Ed program at UPenn's Center for High Impact Philanthropy, an author and frequently quoted thought leader in his field. A much sought-after speaker, he has spoken in 39 countries on 5 continents. Previously he was the CEO of a large international foundation, International VP of a multi-national nonprofit, a private sector strategy consultant, and a university professor and chaplain. As a volunteer leader, he has sat on 60 foundation and non-profit boards and chaired 12 of them,
