This interview with Warbeast Drummer Joey "Blue' Gonzalez was conducted on December 9th 2012 by Japan Nick of WMSC 90.3's Japan Nick's Rock and Metal Pandemonium. Joey Gonzalez is a Dallas, Texas based drummer who is a full time member for Warbeast as well as Philip Anselmo, and does live work for Hank Williams III and Protest. He has been out to Europe twice, once with Hank Williams III and just recently getting back from the Warbeast/Down Tour with a great many performances in Germany. He joined Texas Metal Alliance which is now known as Warbeast at the age of 17. People he views as teachers/mentors include Philip Anselmo, Marzi Montazeri, Bruce Corbitt, Scott Shelby, and Hank Williams III.
