In todays episode I'm referencing the movie "Field Of Dreams", and how building something that you believe in (as crazy as it may seem), can give you purpose and create that place for others too.  Have you ever felt a little crazy for building something (or thinking about building something) that NO ONE understands? I remember when I first stared my blog, I would get pushback from people who didn’t get it. Questions like: Why? What's the point? Doesn't that seems kind of self-centered?! were asked all the time... And all you can do is shrug and remind them that it gives you joy and makes you feel purpose to share what you know, even when it's unclear in the beginning. Eventually, I was able to take my blogging platform to create and share my passion for events, and while it took a minute to get there, I am SO glad I kept going.
