In this episode, I share about the first time I met Rachel Hollis! Also in this episode, my biggest takeaways for attending a blogger conference (or networking event). I was able to learn about the next steps I needed to take from multiple speakers and classes, and I was able to tweak and apply that advice to my business. My biggest takeaways from that conference were these: 1. Make A Plan Go in with intention and a game plan. What are you hoping to get out of this conference? Who would you like to meet or network with? What classes would be most beneficial for you? Plan ahead by mapping out your day ahead of time and be flexible if plans need to change. 2. Don't Get Distracted By FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) There are lots of things to do, people to meet and see, contests to enter, swag bags to enjoy, and photo booths to get a cute photo at.
