Wgtd's The Morning Show With Greg Berg

Steve Allen, one of the legendary figures in entertainment history,  was the original host of The Tonight Show (the first late-night talk show)  and a prolific composer and author as well as a popular game show host and participant.   He came to Carthage College during the first week of March 1999 as a Johnson Distinguished Visitor.  This is one of the only instances in which I co-hosted a Morning Show interview with long-time WGTD news director Bill Guy, who created the program and was its primary host before his death a few months after this interview aired.
