Horror Shots Podcast

Before I get into the article, I would like to welcome The Horror Spinsters to the Morbidly Beautiful podcasting network, and they just happen to be today’s interview for Women in Horror Month! Kelly and Jess are two Canadian girls who absolutely love horror, especially in the feminist sense. They release their cast, I Spit On Your Podcast, on the last day of every month, and they talk about everything from horror movies to TV shows, and everything in between. Generally they have some kind of theme attached to the episodes as well. Don’t let the name fool you though, The Horror Spinsters aren’t you stereotypical versions of a spinster, in fact it’s a term they love, and are taking back, which is something we chat about in the interview. Feminism is important to them, from words, terms, and labels, to what it means in the realm of horror. Speaking of terms, words, and labels, I absolutely adore the name they’ve chosen for their podcast. It exemplifies everything they’re about, and it’s really quite awesom
