The 1970's and 80's were interesting times for the Irish in Kansas City, we saw the rebirth of traditional Irish music here in town with the coming of Talisman and Scartaglen; and who can forget the Dahills and Tommy Dahill on the Irish Fiddle.....many a late night I can remember listening and even dancing a bit at Harlings and Jimmys Jigger and down by the River Quay right where this city began so many years ago.
