Berkreviews.com Movie Club episode 073 - Brokeback Mountain (2005) For the month of June, Jonathan (@berkreviews) and Corey (@coreyrstarr) chose to do LBGTQ+ films. The first selection was Brokeback Mountain (2005), a film that Jonathan has had on his gap list for a while. Corey had seen it before but she felt like she may not have given it a fair chance. The movie is directed by Ang Lee and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams, and Anne Hathaway. Next weeks episode is Milk (2008) Corey selected Milk for the second film for the month of June. It is directed by Gus Van Sant and stars Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, Emile Hirsch, and Diego Luna. Neither Jonathan nor Corey have seen the film so it is a solid pick for the next one.
