Movie Club Episode 013 is focused on Danny Boyle's 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire. Jonathan and Corey had both skipped this film and decided to watch it in honor of T2 Trainspotting getting a wider release. The podcast episode has them discussing what they liked about the film as well as the trailer talk for the week of April 7th. Slumdog Millionaire is based on the novel Q & A and was adapted by Simon Beaufoy. It stars Dev Patel, Freida Pinto, and Irrfan Khan. Next week's episode of movie club will feature the Richard Donner film The Goonies (1985) starring Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, and Jeff Cohen. Jonathan has never seen it.
