There they are intending to inspect Blazon’s abandoned mine. When they enter the mine, however, they discover a human skeleton with a bashed in skull. Jace Pearson of the Texas Rangers gets the assignment. When Pearson arrives on the scene it becomes obvious he has a murder investigation on his hands.
