Duck City Bistro and the Downtown Davenport Partnership will have a fundraiser party benefiting park renovations to Kaiserslautern Square. The event will place Thursday, Feb. 28 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Duck City Bistro! 100% of event proceeds will go toward building a completely redesigned pedestrian-friendly park, including an upgraded fountain, new stage, shade trees, LED lighting, and more. Commonly known as “K-Square”, the park is Located on 3rd Street across from the historic Adler Theater; the park honors Davenport’s “sister city,” Kaiserslautern, Germany.Davenport Sister Cities is part of an international network that advances the cause of citizen diplomacy through activities that advance cultural awareness, exposure and exchange.
