Elections have consequences on our small business. Yesterday I decided to treat myself with afternoon tea. I was watching Youtube and saw a vlog on Americans having afternoon tea in London. Now, if you have never been to an afternoon tea with all the good stuff that comes with the tea, go out and try it. So I found a local place in Palm Beach that does afternoon tea. However, when I got there I was the only one there. Restaurants and bars, and the tea room was empty. That made me so sad because I know how businesses have really struggled through this covid mess. I love small businesses and I want to see them survive. But if government keeps trying to shut them down and tax them at higher rates, as Biden wants to do, we have a problem. Small businesses have a razor thin profit margin and some are just trying to keep their doors open. We all need to do more of our business in local small businesses.
